I’ve stuttered for as long as I can remember. Some days it’s manageable, other times, it feels like my words are trapped in my throat, fighting to get out. It’s frustrating, embarrassing, and honestly, exhausting. I’ve heard that singing might help. And I’m willing to try anything at this point.
So here’s the goal: I’m going to pracrice regularly with coach to see if it loosens up my speech. No, I’m not trying to become the next Frank Sinatra (let’s be real, my shower performances are rough). But apparently, the rhythm and flow of singing use different neural pathways than regular speech, which can help reduce stuttering. If it works even a little, it’ll be worth it 🤞
