This is our unique technique for visualizing and achieving goals using posters. It's very simple and yet truly effective. We love it and have been using it within our team for quite some time.
Let's take a closer look.
What is Visualization?
This is a well-known and proven method. The idea is to mentally imagine, draw, or print on paper a clear picture of what you want to achieve. As people say, we need to see it in order to achieve it.
But that's not all. This picture must be constantly in your sight. So that you never forget about your goal and never miss the slightest opportunity to do something to get closer to it. Sometimes, even unconsciously.
Where to Start?
It all depends on your approach. You can create a test poster in just a few minutes using the poster editor on our website or in our official mobile app.
But if you want to take things more seriously and get better results, I recommend checking out the following articles:
How to Accomplish?
Goals vary greatly. Circumstances, too. And even the people who set goals are always different. Therefore, there can't be a clear, universal plan for achieving your specific goal. But I've prepared eight tips, tested from my own experience, that are sure to help. The first two are for those who decided to create a poster with our service. The rest will be useful for everyone.
A. Set your poster as wallpaper on your mobile phone or laptop to keep your goal in sight.
B. Print your poster and put it on the wall at home or at work. A bit old school, but still a very good idea.
Many people still make vision boards by hand. Not everything has to be digital. Physical artifacts are still important.
C. Share your goal and poster on Instagram, X, Facebook or any other social networks. This will prove the strength of your intentions and will make it harder for you to back down. Your friends, family, colleagues, and followers will learn about your goal and will likely ask how it's going. This option isn't for everyone, as it involves publicity and adds an additional burden of responsibility. But if you decide to go for it, you'll receive a very powerful boost of motivation. In other words, accountability boosts follow-through.
D. Track and update the progress of your goal. Check in weekly or monthly. Are you moving forward? Is everything going as planned?
We made a very simple goal progress slider. Just drag the range thumb from 0% to 100%. Nothing else is needed. Goal progress is a very conditional indicator. Only you decide how to update it. And if something goes wrong or new circumstances arise, simply roll your progress indicator back. It's ok! Life is nontrivial.
E. Reward yourself. Build in milestones and rewards. They keep the process fun and give you a psychological boost to keep going. This will literally allow you to feel like you are taking the steps towards your goal.
H. Revisit and revise. As I said in point D, Life changes. So can your goals. If something no longer fits or feels right, reassess. Reset, don’t quit.
F. Expect obstacles. It may sound trivial, but things will go wrong. Plan for it. Don’t quit at the first setback, adjust your strategy and keep moving.
G. Keep showing up. Progress isn't about perfect days, but about showing up even when you don’t feel like it. The people who succeed aren’t the most talented. They’re the most consistent.
