Having it my way

I want to earn my Professional Engineer license, transition into a project management role at my current firm, and start working sane hours—ideally capping at 45 hours a week. Once I’ve got that stability, I’ll buy a modest house in the Dallas suburbs, something with enough space for a workshop where I can build furniture without tripping over my dog. If I can eventually turn that hobby into a side income without wrecking my weekends, even better.
